3 Steps to Dissolving Stress


While #1 is just not an option for me right now with my two little humans I am so lucky to easily accomplish #3 many, many times on a daily basis. Which steps are doable for you?

3 SIMPLE STEPS TOWARDS DISSOLVING STRESS

#1 SLEEP

The best way to digest stress hormones is sleep. Sleep helps with the excess epinephrine and cortisol. Also, when we’re stressed it increases fluid retention. So give yourself permission to SLEEP as long as you NEED to, whenever you can.


#2 EXERCISE


For me, the best form is yoga. Yoga with bursts of high intensity to get my blood flowing. When we workout we are increasing feel good hormones that we would typically go to sugar for. Also, research shows that if we exercise 3-4 times a week it is as good as a mild depressant medicine! So grab your mat, throw on your running shoes or move your body however you ENJOY to most! Get your HAPPY going! :)


#3 LAUGH

Anything sustainably pleasurable such as laughter increase immunity and decrease pain. How magical is that?
